Inspection/Diagnostics I highly recommend a vehicle pre-purchase inspection from Mountainside. Many private party sellers will provide an opportunity for a professional inspection of their vehicle. A small price to pay for a buyer's peace of mind. I just bought a mid-sized pick-up after Mark's inspection suggested the vehicle was in good condition and well maintained. I wouldn't buy a used vehicle without Mark's inspection.

Wonderful service. Quick and affordable. Actually took the time to explain what is going on with my vehicle and what the code tool was saying from the dashboard lighting up. He's thorough and professional. Highly suggest going here if you live in BG.

I broke down and had an out of town trip the next day. Mark answered the phone and was able to look at my van that evening. He stayed late to work on it and the next morning the new starter was put in so we could leave on our trip on time. So thankful for his work!

This gentleman seems to be at this point a one man operation. He was polite and understanding with our bad experiences at other shops we've tried. Rather than throwing parts at the problem using our checkbook as his personal piggybank, he diplomatically withdrew from the situation. I don't blame him though. We're car people and knew a thing or two coming into this issue. Much of the gimme's we have already thought of so I commend him for admitting he may be in over his head to keep at it for the diagnostic costs he charges. Wouldn't hesitate to bring other projects his way or use the shop for routine maintenance. We didn't get too deep into pricing obviously but he doesn't at all seem like the kind of guy who would string anyone along or try to gouge them.

We have had great experience with Mountainside Auto. Honest, Fair prices, and very reliable. He's very clear at communicating the issues in a way that makes sense to us non experts haha.

This review is long overdue! Mark has been our mechanic for many years and has helped us with a multitude of our cars. This last round with our Escape was a whirlwind and Mark was patient with us until we got it solved and FIXED! Many months later she is still running great despite being over 15 years old and close to 200,000 miles! We were not ready to purchase a new car so we were so relieved when Mark was able to figure out what was wrong it and got her up and running again. His pricing is always fair. We always recommend him to our friends and family that are in the area, and we wholeheartedly recommend him to you too!

Have been taking my car to Mark at Mountainside for 4 years - since we moved to Battle Ground. He is easy to get an appointment with, timely in getting the work done and notifying us when we may pick up the car. His prices are fair and he never tries to talk us into overpriced extras (unlike some dealership service departments we've tried). I'm always happy with Mark's service and results.
